Thank you for using HabitSeed. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

HabitSeed is designed with privacy in mind. By default, the app does not collect personal information that can identify you as an individual.

Your habit data is stored locally on your device.

If you choose to upgrade to HabitSeed Pro, subscription information is processed securely by Apple or Google via their respective platforms. We never access your payment details.

If you enable reminders, the app requests notification permissions. These are used locally and are not sent to any external server.

If you consent, we collect anonymous analytics data to help us improve the app. This data is non-identifiable and includes usage events such as screen views and feature usage. We use PostHog for this purpose.

You can enable or disable analytics tracking at any time from the app settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We only use your data to:

  • Track and manage your habits locally on your device.
  • Send habit reminders (if enabled).
  • Manage your Pro subscription status via RevenueCat.
  • Improve the app experience via anonymous analytics (only if you consent).

3. Third-Party Services

HabitSeed uses the following third-party services:

  • RevenueCat – Subscription management.
  • PostHog – Anonymous analytics (only if user consents).
  • Expo Notifications – Local and push notifications (if enabled).
  • App Store / Google Play – App distribution and payments.

4. Data Retention

All habit tracking data remains on your device unless you manually export it. Analytics data, if enabled, is retained anonymously by PostHog in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Children's Privacy

HabitSeed is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We recommend reviewing it regularly. Continued use of the app after changes are published implies your acceptance of the updated terms.
